Streaks Gameplay Update: Introducing Chips!

Streaks will be launching a new gameplay feature just in time for March Madness—the ability to use chips to wager on contest questions.

Players will now have to gauge their confidence in each pick and will win more for correctly predicting outcomes with longer odds, like the moneyline for an underdog. This is especially important for the college basketball tournament, where predicting upsets is the name of the game.

Here's how it works: when players enter a contest, they will see a Risk to Payout slider, letting them wager a portion of the chips they have accumulated and see their potential earnings. Chips will introduce a new layer of strategy to Streaks, where players will have to understand the odds associated with different picks while accounting for their total chip stack.

After the contest's conclusion, players will be ranked according to how many chips they won, and the top performers on the leaderboards will win cash and prizes. All chips earned in a contest will be added to a player's total chip stack, increasing their overall bankroll and potential leverage in future contests.

In addition to winning chips through contests, players will earn chips for each pick they make and by completing other tasks like using their daily spin chance. Players can also pay for stacks of chips if there's an upcoming contest for a game that they are particularly excited about or confident in their analysis.

This new gameplay feature will allow Streakers to build their ability to manage risk and bankroll while making picks, which is necessary for anyone who wants to parlay their sports prediction skills into becoming a profitable bettor.
