High-ranking Streaks players can use their experience to win big payouts at BetMGM with the One Game Parlay feature. Keep reading for our four-step guide on how to place a One Game Parlay wager at BetMGM.

Step 1: Research an upcoming game and create a parlay strategy

You can start by entering a Streaks contest and taking a moment to think about a game by answering ten pregame questions, or you can do statistical analysis on your own.

As you are analyzing a matchup, be sure to consider the following questions:

-Which team and players have built momentum in recent performances? Current statistical trends are factored into game odds. Analyze whether you think these streaks will continue in this matchup or if they will regress to their season or career averages.

-What matchup dynamics can be exploited? Identify one or two players their opponent will have difficulty containing. Also, consider how a coach might develop a game plan around this analysis. If they have to double-team a star player, that will create opportunities for role players to contribute.

-Will these teams play at a fast or slow pace? Teams that rely on outscoring opponents in high-scoring games generally use lots of possessions and create frequent opportunities for both them and their opponents to score. Other teams focus on defense and try to play around technical execution, leading to fewer possessions and opportunities.

Step 2: Click One Game Parlay and look at associated odds

After analyzing how a game could play out, it's time to look at the BetMGM sportsbook and see the odds they offer for different statistical categories you are considering. The One Game Parlay feature gives you more bets to choose from than singles. You can find bets that are almost guaranteed to hit with odds of -1000 or greater, but as you are shopping for odds, you should consider the following:

-The best value bets are on stat categories in which you are more confident than the sportsbook. If you can find a wager that you think is sure to hit at plus money (+100 or longer), this is a good bet to build your parlay around.

-Look at the wagers you are most confident in, and consider whether their outcomes support each other. For example, if you think a team will win, there's a good chance their star player will have a good game. However, it might be difficult for two players on the same team to run up their stats as they will be sharing opportunities.

-Watch the payout odds increase as you add legs to your parlay. If legs on your parlay are closely associated, sportsbooks will sometimes limit the payout increase or disallow you from placing the bet altogether. For example, most sportsbooks do not let you parlay a team's spread with their moneyline.

-Look out for parlay boosts! One of the most common promotions BetMGM and other sportsbooks offer are odds boosts for particular parlays. But be careful because the ones they offer might not match up with your analysis. Be sure to read the terms so that you know how to apply the boost to your bet.

Step 3: Consider risk tolerance to select a wager amount

Many bettors like to consider their bankroll in terms of "units" because everyone has different amounts of money they feel comfortable wagering. Usually, a "unit" is 1% of your bankroll at a given sportsbook. For example, if I have a $1000 bankroll at BetMGM, one unit would be $10. Considering how many "units" you would like to put down on a particular wager should measure your confidence in that bet. If you're experimenting and unsure how a game will play out, you might just bet a half-unit. If you are confident in your wager, you might bet ten units or more.

Step 4: Place your bet and watch the game!

The best part of placing a parlay is that you've invested in a game from start to finish! If you just picked a moneyline, you can probably just watch the fourth quarter to see if you will win. But the whole game will be full of excitement if you have combined player props and other game lines to build a One Game Parlay at BetMGM.
